We do not organise these events. We publish them as announcements, so that you know of them and can then go to the organising body's own site to learn more.

What this site is for becomes clear when an organiser adds their own event — that is the purpose of the site — and then runs it from beginning to end: registering those who wish to attend, or to attend and present; receiving submissions and having them reviewed; forming the sessions, the committees and the programme; through to issuing the attendance and participation certificates. These are tools that do an organiser's work for them, and spare them running the whole correspondence by email.

Then you see the site with all of its capabilities, and the organiser, the presenter and the attendee feel how orderly, exact and unhurried a well-run event can be.
