Refund Policy

The Arabic text of this page is the binding version. النص العربي لهذه الصفحة هو النص المُلزم.
The general rule: what you paid for a service that has not begun comes back to
you in full. Where a service has begun to be consumed, the consumed part is
reckoned fairly and the rest is returned.
1. Advertising fees
- Before the advertisement starts running: the advertiser may cancel the booking and recover the amount in full.
- After it starts running: the advertiser may ask to stop it at any time, and is refunded the whole of what corresponds to the remaining days of its term, reckoned by the day.
- If the site stops an advertisement by its own decision (for something other than a breach by the advertiser): what corresponds to the remaining term is refunded in full. Stopping it for a breach of these terms carries no refund.
- If an advertisement is rejected at review before publication: the amount is refunded in full.
- The email-letter advertisement — a single appearance inside one letter sent to members, not a placement with a term: its fee is refunded in full unless the letter has already been sent, in which case the service has been fully consumed and there is no refund.
2. Event creation fees (the single-event fee)
- Before the event is published: if the organiser decides against publishing, the fee is refunded in full.
- After publication: the fee is refunded in full within seven days of publication, unless one or more registrants have already registered for the event — registration being the start of the service being consumed.
- After seven days from publication, or after the first registration — whichever is earlier: no refund, because the service has been delivered.
3. The annual package
- The package price is refunded in full within fourteen days of purchase, provided no event has been created with it.
- After that period, or after the first event has been created with it: no refund.
4. Event registration fees (when payment through the site is offered)
- The registration fee is set by the organiser and is due to the organiser; the site is a technical intermediary in collecting it.
- Each event's page shows its own refund policy as its organiser set it, and that is what applies between the registrant and the organiser.
- In every case — whatever the organiser's policy: if the event is cancelled or is not held on its announced date, the registrant is entitled to a full refund of their fee.
- And where a registration fee is refunded in full, the site's commission is returned with it — the site does not earn from a transaction that was cancelled.
5. How a refund is carried out
- A refund is requested from our contact page, quoting the invoice number (INV-…) shown on the receipt.
- The request is decided within three working days, and an accepted refund is made to the original means of payment through the payment gateway.
- The amount reaching the payer's account follows the procedures of the payment gateway and the issuing bank, and may take from five to fourteen working days after the refund is carried out.
- Where the amount included value added tax, that is refunded with the principal in accordance with the regulations.
6. General
- This policy forms part of the terms and conditions, and the provisions there on amendment and governing law apply to it.
- Nothing in this policy detracts from any right granted to a consumer by an applicable Saudi law.
