تعقد جمعية الترجمة مؤتمرها الأول بالشراكة مع كلية اللغات وعلومها بجامعة الملك سعود؛ تعزيزًا للتعاون بين الأوساط الأكاديمية وقطاع صناعة الترجمة، والارتقاء بالمعايير المهنية، ودعم الابتكار والبحث العلمي في هذا المجال، بما ينسجم مع رؤية المملكة 2030. الفئة المستهدفة: الأكاديميون والباحثون، المترجمون الممارسون، طلبة وخريجو أقسام الترجمة واللغات، مكاتب الترجمة وشركات تقنيات اللغة، أصحاب القرار، المهتمون بالترجمة والثقافة، وجهات التدريب.

أهداف المؤتمر:
- بناء منصة مهنية دولية لتبادل المعرفة والخبرات في مجال الترجمة
- تسليط الضوء على التحديات المهنية في السوق وطرح الحلول الممكنة
- ربط برامج الترجمة الأكاديمية بالممارسة المهنية وتعزيز فرص التأهيل والتوظيف
- تشجيع ودعم البحث العلمي والنظري في مجالات الترجمة
