Free for student conferences

Conferences run by students — graduate student conferences, student society symposia, doctoral workshops — use every event-management service on Events Sheets, free of charge.

The people organising them are tomorrow’s faculty, and their budgets are usually small. This is our part; we hope they take the experience back to their universities.

What is included

  • Registration, seat limits and a waiting list
  • Abstract and paper submission, reviewer assignment, and blind review
  • A programme by day and room, a speakers page, tent cards and badges
  • Attendance and participation certificates with a verification code
  • Proceedings pages, indexed by Google Scholar
  • Messages to registrants, reminders, the final report, and list exports

Publishing an event is free for everyone, always. Paid advertising is not included.

Who qualifies

A not-for-profit conference or symposium organised by students — graduate or undergraduate: a student society, a graduate students’ association, a doctoral network. Hosting by a university department is fine, as long as students run the conference.

What to send

One document: a letter or email from your faculty adviser or department, your society’s page on the university website, or the call for papers naming the student committee. Only the site administrator sees it.

How it works

  1. Create an account in the name of the conference or society.
  2. Send the request with the document.
  3. It is reviewed and answered on your request page. Once approved, your event-management services are free for a year, renewable with a new request.
