An online programme in evidence-based university teaching practice: designing a student-centred course, active learning, a supportive classroom and assessment that guides teaching. Faculty members apply each practice in a course they are actually teaching and reflect on its effect, and the certification is issued with the American Council on Education.
Faculty members in any discipline, whether they teach in person or online.
The participant must be teaching a real course in which to apply what is learned.
Usually taken in cohorts through a university that has an agreement with the association; individual enrolment and national cohorts are also offered. Ask whether it is available outside the United States before registering.
