A professional credential for those who work in training and staff development: training needs analysis, programme design, e-learning, measuring the impact of training and talent management. The association has a lower credential (APTD) for those starting out. It complements the Training of Trainers entry in this directory for people for whom training is a profession rather than a side activity.
Training and development officers, designers of training programmes, and staff of university continuing education centres.
Experience in talent development counted in years and professional development hours, or the lower credential with less experience.
Apply on the association's website, then sit an exam at an authorised centre or online with a proctor.
