One of the most senior and widely held information security certifications, covering eight domains from security governance and risk management to network security and secure development. It is asked for in security leadership roles more than in hands-on ones.

Cybersecurity managers, consultants and security governance officers.
3What it requires
Several years of paid work experience in at least two of the certification domains, reduced for holders of certain qualifications.
4How it is earned
One long exam, then documented experience and endorsement by an existing certificate holder. Candidates without the full experience can become an Associate and complete it later.
