A statutory exam required to work in many roles at capital market institutions in Saudi Arabia, covering the market's regulations and rules, investment instruments and codes of professional conduct. It is the first thing asked of anyone entering the regulated financial sector.

No particular specialism is required; an understanding of capital market basics is needed.
Register for the exam as announced by the Authority, whose website publishes the syllabus. Training centres offer preparatory courses, and the first reference is the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.
