A personal credential in designing and operating sustainable buildings under the LEED system: energy and water efficiency, materials, indoor environmental quality and site. It starts with a general foundation level, then a specialist level in which the professional chooses a track.
Architects, building engineers, consultants and facility managers, and anyone working on projects that require a sustainability certification.
The foundation level has no prerequisite; the specialist level assumes involvement in a project registered in the system.
One exam per level, booked on the council's website; the reference material is published, and many candidates take a short preparatory course.
