What it is

A graded path of Microsoft cloud certifications: a foundational certificate that explains cloud concepts and services, then certifications for engineers, developers and administrators. Among the most requested technical certificates, because so many government bodies and companies run on these systems.

Who it suits

System administrators, developers and network engineers, and anyone starting out in cloud computing.

What it requires

The foundational certificate has no prerequisite; the later ones assume hands-on experience with cloud services.

How it is earned

Register for the exam on the Microsoft website and sit it at an authorised test centre or online with a proctor. The study material is free on Microsoft Learn, and many candidates need nothing more than that plus practice.
