1What it is
A professional credential that measures the ability to run a special event from start to finish: design, planning, coordinating suppliers, delivery and evaluation. It suits galas, official ceremonies, award evenings and conference openings, the ceremonial side that the meetings credentials do not cover.
2Who it suits
Organisers of galas and official occasions, protocol and public relations officers, and event management companies.
3What it requires
Full-time practical experience in the events industry, counted in years. Candidates with less experience add a supporting document, such as a relevant degree or a recommendation from a current holder.
4How it is earned
An application that is reviewed first, then a multiple-choice exam taken online with a proctor, available almost all year round.
When a centre or body posts a course that prepares for it, we send you one email about it.
